Memorial Day in DC: Motorcycles and Monuments
A beautiful blue sky with puffy clouds casts a dramatic shadow on the Washington Monument, Saturday, May 24, 2008, the first day of the Memorial Day weekend.
Rolling Thunder is almost here. The rumbling of Harleys can be heard throughout the city as Rolling Thunder XXI is ready to go Sunday. Here a line of motorcycles is parked off 14th St on the National Mall.
