Leather Man Wayne Nesbitt Dies

The magazine Metro Weekly reports about the death of local leatherman Wayne Nesbitt, the first black man to win Mr. D.C. Eagle and an official “Centaur Groupie”, who died “likely” of cardiac arrest while surrounded by friends at the Eagle in Washington, D.C., Friday evening, June 13, 2008.

The Nesbitt family invites all to remember Wayne Nesbitt at a wake at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., Monday, June 23, at Metropolitan AME Church, 1518 M St. NW.
