Delicious Cake in the Face

A rowdy crowd of anonymi surround two folding tables, cheering nine of their members on to cake carnage. Cake flies - in your face, in your hair, in your clothes, not to mention your camera bag. “Puke! Puke! Puke!” shout some. Certainly it looks like someone will.

Members of an amorphous group called “Anonymous” held an “>9000 Anon March” (over nine-thousand, anonymous march) to protest the Church of Scientology, and to eat delicious cake on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, Saturday, July 19, 2008.

While entertaining themselves with the activities, the internet-spawned horde gathered for a larger mission of, according to their website, “(bringing) into the public eye… hundreds of illegal actions, fraudulent activities, and human rights violations perpetrated by the Church of Scientology.”

These are from a series of photos from the >9000 Anon March that will be published on Washington Photo Journal. More to come. Video soon. Be sure to add WaPhoJo to your RSS reader to know when more are added.

Thank you SO much for posting these very fun pictures and running this story. It is heart warming to know that people can get together peacefully for a great cause. Scientologly should be exposed. They should NOT be tax exempt, THEY ARE A BUSINESS. They should pay their fair share! Even their founder L. Ron Hubbard stated they were not a religion! Nor have they ever been legally recognized as a church!
They should be investigated for all their illegal and immoral practices and be asked “WHERE ON EARTH IS ALL YOUR MEMBER’S MONEY GOING???”
    Who’s watching the store???

More power to these kids!!! I hope they able to protest again in DC. Maybe the next time they won’t have to hide their faces with masks so they can escape the “fair gaming” and rath of Scientology for their freedom of speech.

They stood out in 95 plus degree heat with masks on all day. I hope the message gets across to the world, that Scientology should be exposed, and must clean up it’s act instead of them trying to “clear the planet” as they are so desperately trying to do. Sound crazy???? Look it up!

    Sincerely, Just a Another “Wog”
(FYI…this is what Scientology calls anyone who is not in their so called “religion”
