Installer’s Arms
A “Marshall Arts” installer’s freckled arms.
Modern Head, a steel sculpture by Roy Lichtenstein, was installed Wednesday, August 27, 2008, outside the Smithsonian American Art Museum, at the corner of F and Ninth Streets, NW, in Washington, D.C. According to Patsy Tompkins from the James Goodman Gallery, Marshall Arts is “the only” company that can handle installing the 31 foot tall, 13,000 pound steel sculpture.
