Fenty Supports Obama at High Heel Race

Ghost Bike in Dupont for Alice Swanson

Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) placed a ghost bike near 20th & R NW, in Washington, DC, where 22-year-old Alice Swanson was fatally struck by a garbage truck while riding her bike, Tuesday, July 8, 2008. The bike, which was put up the day of the collision, is covered with flowers in this July 13 photo by M. V. Jantzen.
