WaPhoJo has been feeling a little under the weather and didn’t get any new photos this weekend, so here’s another fun one from earlier this year. A stuffed tiger was the victim of a hit and run at Shamrock Fest, held Saturday, March 15, 2008 in the RFK stadium parking lot.

The iPhone 3G was launched today, July 11, 2008. A half-block-long line flowed from an Apple store in Bethesda, MD, today at about 2:30 p.m., where the next man in line said he’d been waiting since 8:30 a.m. The new version of the device, which uses a faster 3G technology for web surfing, sells at a cheaper price than the first generation but has a more expensive service plan.
