WaPhoJo has been feeling a little under the weather and didn’t get any new photos this weekend, so here’s another fun one from earlier this year. A stuffed tiger was the victim of a hit and run at Shamrock Fest, held Saturday, March 15, 2008 in the RFK stadium parking lot.

iPhone 3G Causing Long Lines

The iPhone 3G was launched today, July 11, 2008. A half-block-long line flowed from an Apple store in Bethesda, MD, today at about 2:30 p.m., where the next man in line said he’d been waiting since 8:30 a.m. The new version of the device, which uses a faster 3G technology for web surfing, sells at a cheaper price than the first generation but has a more expensive service plan. This image was taken with a first-generation iPhone.
